NCT ID NCT05404308

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a weekly check by a specially trained radiation technologist (MERM) to the usual doctor visits can help find side effects from proton therapy more often. About 92 adults with brain or upper throat tumors will take part. The goal is to see if this extra monitoring catches more toxicities that need treatment.
