Precision proton beams supercharge immune attack on liver tumors
NCT ID NCT06999694
Summary
This study is testing whether combining precise proton radiation therapy with two immunotherapy drugs can better control advanced liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. The trial will enroll 45 patients to see if this combination is safe and more effective than current standard immunotherapy alone. Researchers hope the radiation will help the immune drugs work better against the cancer.
