First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study is testing a precise type of radiation called proton therapy for people whose nasopharyngeal cancer has come back. The goal is to see if it can control the cancer while causing fewer severe side effects than standard treatments. About 52 adults with recurrent, non-spreading cancer will take part. Researchers will track serious complications and how long participants live without the cancer growing.
