Summary

This study tests a special proton therapy technique that avoids the hippocampus, a brain area key for memory, in children with low-grade glioma. About 74 children will receive this treatment to see if it's possible to reduce radiation to the hippocampus while still controlling the tumor. The goal is to help kids keep better memory and thinking skills after treatment.
