Can more protein in feeding tubes wake up brain injury patients?

NCT ID NCT07295301

Summary

This study aims to find the best amount of protein to give to critically ill brain injury and stroke patients through a feeding tube. Researchers will compare three different protein doses to see which one most helps patients regain consciousness, survive, and leave the hospital sooner. The goal is to improve standard feeding practices for these vulnerable patients in intensive care.
