Could a cord tissue graft help men recover faster after prostate surgery?

NCT ID NCT04263025

Summary

This study is testing whether placing a special graft made from donated umbilical cord tissue during robotic prostate cancer surgery helps men regain bladder control and sexual function more quickly. It will involve 100 men who are scheduled for a specific type of nerve-sparing surgery. Half will receive the graft during their operation, and half will have the standard surgery, so researchers can compare their recovery.
