Hidden danger? study aims to spot aggressive prostate cancer missed by biopsy
NCT ID NCT02189486
Summary
This study aimed to create a tool to better predict prostate cancer severity. It involved 382 men diagnosed with low-grade cancer who were scheduled for prostate removal surgery. Researchers collected their tissue samples, blood, and health information to find clues that could reveal if the cancer was actually more aggressive than the initial biopsy showed.
