Could prostate cancer treatment drop the shots?

NCT ID NCT03565835

Summary

This study tested whether men with advanced prostate cancer who take abiraterone and prednisone pills could safely stop their regular hormone injections. Researchers wanted to see if testosterone levels would stay low enough to control the cancer without the injections. The trial involved 31 participants to measure testosterone levels, side effects, and cancer progression over time.
