First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether men with advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy can safely stop treatment after 5 cycles of a targeted radiation drug (177Lu-PSMA-617) instead of the usual 6. The goal is to see if a shorter treatment plan can control the cancer just as well while possibly reducing side effects. About 236 men will take part, and the study is currently recruiting.
