New prostate cancer drug trial aims to control disease with fewer side effects

Summary
This study is testing if a newer drug called darolutamide, when given for 6 months alongside standard radiation therapy, can effectively control prostate cancer. It is being compared to the current standard treatment, which combines radiation with a different type of hormone therapy. The main goal is to see if the new combination can keep PSA levels very low, which is a sign the cancer is under control.
