Summary
This study is for men with a type of advanced prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy and has certain DNA repair gene changes. The trial compares the usual chemo (docetaxel) alone versus docetaxel plus a platinum chemo drug to see if the combination helps patients live longer or delays cancer growth. About 236 participants will be enrolled, and the main goal is overall survival.
