Scientists scan for clues as prostate cancer outsmarts drugs
NCT ID NCT05647564
Summary
This study aims to understand why advanced prostate cancer becomes resistant to hormone-blocking treatments. Researchers will use specialized PET/CT scans to track cancer lesions in 25 men who are either starting or already receiving these therapies. By comparing different imaging methods over 9 months to 2 years, they hope to learn how to better monitor treatment resistance and predict when cancer might progress.
