Second scan seeks hidden prostate cancer when first test fails

NCT ID NCT05722925

Summary

This study is testing if a different type of imaging scan (Fluciclovine PET) can find recurring prostate cancer in men whose standard PSMA PET scan was negative. It involves 50 men whose blood tests suggest the cancer has returned. The main goal is to see if this second scan can locate the cancer and change the patient's treatment plan.
