Could prostate cancer treatment be cut in half?

Summary
This large study aims to see if a shorter, more intense 2-week radiation schedule for the pelvic area is just as effective and safe as the standard 4-5 week schedule for men with prostate cancer that may have spread to nearby lymph nodes. Both groups will also receive a targeted radiation boost to the prostate and hormone therapy. The main goal is to check if the shorter treatment causes similar side effects and controls the cancer just as well, which could save patients significant time and clinic visits.
