Shorter prostate cancer treatment tested: radiation alone vs. radiation plus hormones
NCT ID NCT06397703
Summary
This study is for men with a specific type of intermediate-risk prostate cancer. It aims to see if a shorter, more intense course of radiation therapy (SBRT) works as well as the same radiation combined with 6 months of hormone-blocking drugs (ADT). Participants will choose which treatment path they follow and will be monitored for up to 5 years, including a follow-up biopsy, to check for cancer control and side effects.
