New radiation method aims to protect erections in prostate cancer treatment

Summary

This study tests a precise radiation technique for prostate cancer that aims to protect the nerves and blood vessels needed for erections. About 200 men will get either standard or this 'neurovascular-sparing' radiation. The goal is to see if the new method reduces sexual side effects without compromising cancer control.
