Five shots vs. twenty: race to control prostate cancer faster

NCT ID NCT05705921

Summary

This study aims to see if a shorter, more intense radiation schedule (5 treatments) can control prostate cancer as well as or better than the current standard schedule (20 treatments). It will enroll 484 men with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to improve long-term cancer control while potentially making treatment more convenient for patients.
