New radiation technique aims to reduce prostate cancer treatment side effects

NCT ID NCT06547398

Summary

This study is testing a new, more precise method of delivering radiation therapy for prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this 'adaptive' approach, which adjusts treatment daily based on body changes, can safely reduce side effects like bowel and urinary problems. The research will also evaluate if specially trained radiation therapists can effectively lead this process, which could make the advanced technique more widely available.
