MRI-Guided radiation zaps prostate tumors with precision

NCT ID NCT06542757

Summary

This study is testing a focused radiation treatment for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. It uses advanced MRI guidance to deliver a high-dose radiation boost directly to the main tumor while using lower doses on the rest of the prostate. Researchers will check if this approach effectively controls the cancer two years later by performing follow-up biopsies and monitoring side effects and quality of life.
