New radiation approach aims to spare men from treatment side effects

NCT ID NCT06284304

Summary

This study is testing a new, shorter radiation treatment schedule for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if delivering fewer, more precise radiation doses using advanced MRI-guided machines can reduce common side effects like urinary and bowel problems. Researchers will follow 20 patients for two years to check if the treatment remains effective at controlling cancer while improving quality of life.
