First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 18, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a shorter, more intense course of radiation has fewer side effects for men whose prostate cancer has returned and spread to a few lymph nodes. It compares two radiation methods: proton beam therapy and standard IMRT. The main goal is to see which approach causes fewer serious long-term bowel or urinary problems.
