Scientists test shorter, more precise radiation for prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT03386045
Summary
This study aims to find the best radiation treatment schedule for prostate cancer by comparing three different approaches. It involves 503 men with prostate cancer who are suitable for high-dose radiation. Researchers are testing whether shorter, more intense radiation courses or a combination of standard and high-precision radiation work better at controlling the cancer while minimizing side effects.
