First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to give radiation for intermediate-risk prostate cancer. 76 men received standard radiation to the prostate and nearby areas, plus an extra, precise radiation boost to the tumor. The goal was to improve cancer control while limiting side effects on the bladder and rectum. Researchers tracked changes in urinary and rectal function over time.
