Shorter radiation course tested for prostate cancer patients with urinary issues

NCT ID NCT06834152

Summary

This study is testing whether a shorter, 5-week course of targeted radiation is safe and effective for men with prostate cancer who also have bothersome urinary symptoms or an enlarged prostate. It aims to see if this approach can control the cancer while keeping severe side effects, especially to the urinary system, very low. The research will involve about 75 men at multiple international centers.
