Summary

This study compares two radiation treatments for early-stage prostate cancer to see which causes fewer side effects. Researchers are testing whether proton beam therapy (PBT) causes fewer bowel, urinary, and sexual problems than standard radiation (IMRT). The study involves 454 men who will receive one of the two treatments and be followed for five years to track their quality of life.
