New radiation technique aims to protect Men's sexual health during prostate cancer fight

NCT ID NCT07293585

Summary

This study is testing whether a more precise, MRI-guided radiation technique can better protect the nerves and blood vessels needed for erectile function in men with prostate cancer. Researchers will compare this advanced method to standard radiation in 200 patients, measuring sexual function and quality of life for two years after treatment. The goal is to see if the extra planning time and effort leads to fewer long-term side effects while still effectively treating the cancer.
