New radiation schedule shows promise for High-Risk prostate cancer

Summary
This study tested a shorter course of radiation (hypofractionation) in 52 men with prostate cancer who had high-risk features after their prostate was removed. The goal was to see if giving higher doses over fewer sessions could better control the cancer and reduce side effects. The main measure of success was how long it took for the cancer to come back or for additional treatment to be needed.
