Shorter radiation course tested for prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT06325046

Summary

This study is testing whether a shorter, more precise radiation treatment (2 sessions) works as well as the standard longer treatment (5 sessions) for prostate cancer that hasn't spread. The goal is to see if the shorter treatment can control the cancer while causing fewer side effects on bowel, bladder, and sexual function. Researchers will compare quality of life and cancer control between the two approaches over several years.
