First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study followed 831 men aged 60 and older with prostate cancer who were starting hormone therapy (GnRH agonists). Researchers tracked how their quality of life changed over six months using questionnaires. The goal was to understand how different age groups cope with treatment side effects, not to test a new drug.
