Yale researchers probe emotional impact of advanced cancer scans
NCT ID NCT06523777
Summary
This study aims to understand how a new, more sensitive type of prostate cancer scan (PSMA-PET) affects patients' anxiety, decision-making, and quality of life. Researchers will follow 350 men with prostate cancer who are getting this scan for the first time, collecting surveys and conducting interviews over a year. The goal is to learn about the patient experience to help improve future care and support.
