Zapping spots: can targeted radiation boost prostate cancer treatment?

Summary
This study is testing if adding targeted radiation or surgery to destroy a few cancer spots improves outcomes for men whose prostate cancer has spread. It compares standard hormone-blocking drugs alone to those drugs plus this 'ablative therapy' to all visible cancer sites. The goal is to see if this more aggressive local approach helps control the cancer longer and improve quality of life.
