Scientists track Body's defense system during prostate cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07131956

Summary

This study aims to understand how the immune system changes in prostate cancer patients receiving brachytherapy (a type of internal radiation treatment). Researchers will track immune cells and other markers in blood and tissue samples taken before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge about how the body responds to this cancer therapy, which could inform future treatments.
