New scan aims to sharpen prostate cancer detection

Summary

This study is testing a new type of PET scan called 68Ga-PSMA-11 to see if it can better find and track prostate cancer. It enrolled 141 men with different stages of prostate cancer to see if this scan changes how doctors plan their treatment. The goal is to improve how doctors monitor the disease and decide on the best care.
