New scan aims to pinpoint dangerous prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT04910425

Summary

This study aimed to test a new type of imaging scan to see if it could better identify aggressive prostate cancer. It planned to compare a special PET/MRI scan to a standard MRI scan in men with elevated PSA levels who were scheduled for a biopsy. The goal was to improve the accuracy of detecting serious cancer, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
