Scientists gather images to train future Cancer-Spotting computers

NCT ID NCT02618200

Summary

This study collected MRI and ultrasound images from two prostate cancer patients to create a database. The goal is to help researchers develop future computer systems that can better detect prostate cancer without invasive biopsies. This was a data-gathering step, not a treatment trial, to support future diagnostic tool development.
