Scientists probe if common prostate cancer drugs make tumors 'Glow' brighter on scans

NCT ID NCT05683964

Summary

This small, early study aims to understand if standard hormone therapy drugs change how prostate cancer appears on a specialized PSMA PET scan. About 15 men with recurrent prostate cancer will receive a standard hormone pill and have two scans over four weeks. The goal is to gather information that might help doctors better interpret these scans in the future.
