New study aims to make prostate cancer genetic testing fairer for all
NCT ID NCT07407686
First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study works with 100 people from groups often left out of prostate cancer care—Black African and Caribbean men, transgender and non-binary people with a prostate, and those with limited healthcare access. Researchers will interview participants to find out what makes genetic risk information hard to understand, then co-create easy-to-use digital resources. The goal is to help more people learn about their genetic risk and join genetic research studies.
