New drug duo aims to fight Tough-to-Treat prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT03787680

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, olaparib and AZD6738, can help control advanced prostate cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard hormone treatments. It will involve about 49 men to see how well the drugs work together and how safe they are. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors or lower PSA levels and delay the cancer's progression.
