New Two-Pronged attack on advanced prostate cancer

Summary
This study is testing a combination of two drugs, olaparib and radium-223, for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread to the bones and is no longer responding to standard hormone therapy. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination can slow the cancer's growth and delay its spread. It involves about 145 men and includes both an initial dose-finding phase and a later phase comparing the combination to one of the drugs alone.
