Starving tumors: trial tests new combo for tough prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT01885949
Summary
This study tested if combining two drugs, tivozanib and enzalutamide, could better control advanced prostate cancer that had stopped responding to standard hormone therapy. The goal was to see if the combination could delay cancer growth longer than using enzalutamide alone. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 5 men, so no final results are available.
