First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study was designed to see if a special PET/MRI scan can better detect serious prostate cancer in men with elevated PSA levels. Participants would have received an injectable radioactive tracer that attaches to prostate cancer cells, followed by imaging. The goal was to compare this new method with standard MRI to improve diagnosis. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants.
