Summary
This study is testing a special needle that uses light and sound waves to examine prostate tissue during a standard biopsy procedure. The goal is to see if this tool can reliably measure tissue and potentially tell the difference between healthy and cancerous areas without having to remove tissue samples. The study involves 50 men aged 40-80 who are already scheduled for a prostate biopsy as part of their regular medical care.
