New web tool aims to ease prostate cancer treatment choices
NCT ID NCT07280897
Summary
This study is testing a web-based support program called SCIPI for men newly diagnosed with prostate cancer that hasn't spread. The program provides easy-to-understand information and tools to help patients prepare for doctor visits and make confident treatment decisions. Researchers want to see if using SCIPI improves patients' satisfaction with their choices and their overall quality of life compared to standard care. About 200 participants will be randomly assigned to use the web program or receive usual care, and their experiences will be tracked for six months.
