NCT ID NCT03503643

First seen May 24, 2026 ยท Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study followed 354 men with prostate cancer who chose to freeze half of their prostate gland (hemi-gland cryoablation) to destroy tumors. Researchers tracked how well the treatment controlled cancer and its impact on urinary function. The goal was to see if using advanced MRI and targeted biopsies before treatment leads to better outcomes.
