Scientists track cancer cells through blood tests and scans during radiation
NCT ID NCT02997709
Summary
This study aims to understand how prostate cancer responds to standard radiation treatment by tracking changes in blood tests and imaging scans over time. Researchers will follow 144 patients undergoing radiation therapy or surgery to see if certain markers in blood and scans can predict treatment success. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors better monitor and personalize future prostate cancer treatments.
