The hidden stress of watching and waiting: how prostate cancer surveillance affects families

NCT ID NCT07351461

Summary

This study aims to understand how much anxiety affects prostate cancer patients who are on active surveillance (watching the cancer instead of immediate treatment) and their life partners. Researchers will survey 432 patient-partner pairs to measure their stress levels and identify what factors contribute to their worry. The goal is to gather information that can lead to better emotional support for these families.
