Closing your eyes after knee surgery might speed up recovery
NCT ID NCT06936267
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether doing balance exercises with your eyes closed soon after knee replacement surgery improves recovery. About 66 people aged 60-85 who had a knee replaced due to arthritis will be split into two groups: one does standard rehab, the other adds special balance training without visual cues. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better balance and function.
