Could a common pill help rewire the brain to ease chronic pain?
NCT ID NCT05085782
Summary
This study tested if combining pain education with a medication called propranolol could help people with chronic low back pain or fibromyalgia. It was a small, early-stage trial to see if the approach was practical and acceptable to patients, and to get a first look at whether it might reduce pain and improve function. The goal was to gather information to design a larger future study.
