Summary
This study looked at 80 adults having a routine stomach camera exam (gastroscopy) to compare two sedatives: propofol and remifentanil. The goal was to see which drug provides safer sedation, faster recovery, and higher satisfaction for both patients and the doctor performing the procedure. Results will help guide choice of sedation for this common outpatient procedure.
