Summary
This study looked at 65 older adults getting a less invasive heart valve replacement (TAVR). Researchers compared two common sedation drugs, propofol and dexmedetomidine, to see which one better protects kidney function, reduces confusion after surgery, and lowers the risk of side effects. The goal is to find the safest sedation method for these patients.
